Sarbanes Oxley

Following the Enron case in the USA there is legislation that all Companies who report on the New York Stock exchange have to account for their assets and report on these on a three yearly basis. There is a requirement that all assets have to be 'kick tested' to ensure that they are still in use and are on the company's books with the correct depreciation and book value.

Science Gen have utilised their expertise in asset tracking and information management to conduct asset kick tests for companies to enable them to have updated information on their assets and validation that they are in use.

Asset tracking

Within R&D facilities assets are key to enabling the scientists to operate. However it is common for mobile assets to be moved between areas and laboratories as demands are met. To keep track of a Companies assets is often complex and time consuming.
